Delete Your Medio Account

We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your Medio account and associated data, please follow the instructions below.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)

  1. Open the Medio app on your device
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Scroll to Account Management
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm your decision when prompted

Option 2: Email Request

If you're unable to access the app, you can request account deletion, or deletion of any data, by email:

  1. Send an email to: meditasjonsapp@gmail.com
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request - Medio"
  3. Include the email address associated with your account
  4. We will process your request within 72 hours

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

Immediately Deleted:

  • Your account credentials and authentication data
  • Personal profile information (name, email)

Subscription Data:

  • Active subscriptions will need to be canceled in App Store or Google Play
  • Purchase history will be retained for legal compliance (see below)
  • You will lose access to premium content immediately

What Data We Retain

For legal and compliance reasons, we retain minimal data after account deletion:

Financial Records (7 years):

  • Transaction IDs and purchase receipts
  • Subscription history (anonymized)
  • Required for tax and accounting compliance

Legal Compliance Data:

  • Data required by law enforcement (if applicable)
  • Fraud prevention records (anonymized)

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • Backup your data before deletion if you want to keep any information
  • Active subscriptions will be cancelled but not refunded for unused time
  • Re-registration with the same email will create a new account without previous data

Processing Time

  • In-app deletion: Immediate
  • Email requests: Within 72 hours
  • Complete data purge from backups: Within 30 days
